Ftp Upload Slow on One Computer Fast on Another

  • #1
So on ane of my laptops I go 2mbps and on some other the advertised 10mbps. I have tried both wireless and wired. My iPad and Phone also get the 10mbps.

The laptop that is getting slow speeds when I use information technology on the schoolhouse'due south wireless connectedness I get 13mbps so information technology is well capable of getting 10mbps and is even newer than the other laptop that is getting 10mbps.

So the problem 100% lies in the configuration. Problem is I have no idea what I need to change :/

Edit: I would also like to add there is NOTHING in the background downloading anything. The weird thing is that merely download is effected and upload is simply every bit it should be. Too my ping is 3 times higher even with a wired connection vs wifi on another device.

Wired connections don't necessarily ameliorate your speed, they generally but keep the connection more consequent and error free. Anyhow, it sounds like a trouble with the laptop itself every bit the other 1 works fine, and then you should contact a customer service rep of your laptop's manufacturer to see if it is a common issue with that arrangement. If it is, they may exist able to help you lot solve the problem with your laptop or you may demand to RMA the laptop if it is all the same under warranty.

Truthful, merely yet worth talking to a rep because that is on them if the drivers don't work, since it's presumably a pre-built laptop.

In my case
my labtop wifi slow down from 10m to 4m
I establish solution to solve by

1.uninstall wifi driver at device managing director with (no checkbox delete the driver).
2.rescan hardware your wifi commuter will announced again.

that magic my wifi speed test upwardly to 10m like lan pc.
